Shared subscription not sharing folder access

I have a number of plans. For instance, Plan 5 allows specific folder access. I want a Plan 5 subscriber to share folder access to the new family plan subscriber.

When I test the process and share from a Plan 5 subscriber, the new shared subscriber does not inherit the Plan 5.

Am I missing a setting?

They don't inherit what exactly? They don't gain access to the folder? The subscription isn't showing in their profile? Folder access password synchronization only happens after a login or after a registration. So they need to log out and log back in to trigger that synchronization. I honestly don't recommend using this old approach to sharing files and instead recommend using CB Gallery.
