Auto actions for date field as a reminder

Auto actions for date field as a reminder was created by Andromeda57
Hello guys,

is there a way to use a date field as a reminder, and auto action for example could send an email?

For example, we insert 17.01.2021 in a date field, 7 days before on 10.01.2021 the user should get an email.

Or: a user adds the date 17.01.2021 in a date field, and the system automatically adds a date 7 days earlier in a second date field.

Is this possible?

Thanks.

CB Auto Actions is not a scheduler. It simply performs actions based off an event. You can force it to be a scheduler by running a CRON task against an auto action directly (leave Triggers as None to allow direct execution) or using something like Internal Users trigger with its URL (Internal Users URL can be found in CB Auto Actions > Parameters) in a CRON task to loop every user on your site through an auto action, but that's not very efficient for large sites as currently you can't filter the users in the Internal Users trigger.
