Problem generating site key

Problem generating site key was created by dhphllps
I enter the URL for a site, I get the message that "Error, you already have a key for this site," while the list of existing keys says "You currently have no Site Keys."



When I go to the site key entry point in the site it shows "Looks like you do not have a site key yet."



When I enter the URL in the search box and click, I get a 403.

I was able to generate a site key for another site with no problem.

Well, I may have solved the problem - by leaving off the www, I was able to generate a key. Is a key for a specific hostname or for the entire domain?

That was a bug on our end. Site Keys were conflicting with temporary tokens. That won't happen anymore though. The URL you supply must match Joomla exactly or it will be rejected (install from web will output a message if it wasn't valid).
