Solved: url field validation

Hi,
I am using an url field but the user can add an url without https://. My code with the url field needs https:// and so I need a validation.

I added a regex validation and now the input requires https:// but the input is not saved anymore.

I switched to text field without success. So now it is an url field again and I need help. The field is part of a field group. What can I do?

I switched he logic: no https allowed and adding it in code, now it works, with url check and bad words filter.

Custom validation rule should work fine. I'm guessing your validation rule wasn't valid REGEX and is why it wasn't working correctly. The Web Address field is designed to not require http or https and will add it if it's missing.
