How to stop the email notification of the moderator

3 years 9 months ago - 3 years 9 months ago #322111 by erichburkhard
Hi - I am using CB 2.4.7. I have set up a user, called: "moderator" (group = "moderator") who is responsible for approving the pictures which have been uploaded by the site-users. To execute this approval process, the moderator logs in to the front end an will be informed (by the workflow module) which pictures have to be approved. So far so good. The only thing that I didn't like was the fact that the moderator also receives (as soon as the site user has uploaded his new avatar pic) an email (into his mailbox) containing also the information that the moderator has to approve the uploaded pic. In order to stop this email notification I made the following settings in the CB backend:

Unfortunately this does not work. The moderator still gets emails as soon as a user uploads a new avatar that has to be approved

So my question is. Is this a bug or did I missunderstand the meaning of the "Send moderators Email" field?

regards

Use language overrides to translate the following language keys to empty strings. Empty subject/body will always block an email.

UE_IMAGE_ADMIN_SUB
UE_IMAGE_ADMIN_MSG

That parameter at this time only refers to registration flow emails. It doesn't block any other moderator emails.
