1. When you click on checkbox "forgot username" (only), a message with directions appear. The message instructs user to leave the field "Username" empty, but the specific field doesn't appear. Not ok
2. In case you click on "forgot password" then the field "Username" appears. Ok.
3. When you click both checkboxes only email appears.The message instructs user to leave the field "Username" empty, but the specific field doesn't appear. Not ok
I believe that in case 1 and 3 it is normal that the field "Username" doesn't appear but the instructions should change accordingly. In my case I made overrides and instructions look ok now.

Forgot login is planned to be completely redesigned once we've added our planned template API (specifically Twig). At this time yes it has some UX problems with its wording.
