Is there a way, when a user upgrades his subscription plan to a higher one, to also change the related Joomla User group?

User has subscription plan CBSubsLevel1 and moves to CBSubsLevel2. I need to also change his Joomla User group and take the user from Level1 to Level2 but not manually. If there are many users changing their plans it would be impossible to do it this way.
