The create limit limits how much of something a user can create. So for example CB GroupJive Photos it limits how many photos they can upload. This limit is per-group. The field selection option lets you control their create limit from a profile field instead of it just being a static value in configuration. So for example 1 users create limit could be 5 and another users be 10. You could increase a users create limit using CBSubs Fields integration effectively letting them buy more limit.
