Firebase Integration

We are currently using Joomla 3.10.4 and Group Jive in our community and we would like to build a mobile app connected to the groups functionality and push notifications connected to the CB notifications. Our prevailing idea is to use CB Auto Actions to send GroupJive and Notification data to Google Firebase and have our app developers connect to that. Then have CB AutoActions connect to Firebase and retrieve data from Google Firebase so that the app data is also in the web database. I hope this makes sense. The question is firstly do you think this is the best approach and how might you guys do it if you had the same problem?

Yup, that should work fine. CB Auto Actions can be accessed directly via its auto action URL when Triggers is set to None. It can also directly output a JSON response. This allows for it to work like a webservices endpoint. You can also use a Request action to make HTTP calls to other services on various triggers to push data to those services as well.
