CB Activity privacy settings

Hello

I have some difficulties setting CB activity privacy.

For instance if I choose Private in my profile, everybody can still see my posts and my flows everywhere

Would it only apply to new posts ?

Also is there a way to protect only some categories of posts ? depending on nature or assets ?

I need to protect some posts of some users that may be competitors and would not want to see what each other is doing

You can protect all of your profile activity by protecting the privacy access of the Activity tab. If it's a field then protecting privacy access of the entire field itself should also work to protect all of the activity in that field. Aside from that individual post privacy access would be the only other way.
