Your auto action might be triggering twice then. I'm not seeing double emails in my tests. What triggers are you acting on in the email action?

Also be sure you don't have duplicate auto actions as maybe you saved a copy of the auto action and have 2?
I don't know what else to suggest other than review implementing your own email solution. I am not seeing email duplication in my tests even with acting on the same trigger, sorry.
