Ability to import new users and create subscriptions in CB Subs

1 year 2 months ago #335429 by MarylandShallIssue
Hi.  I'd like to be able to integrate an Airtable database with CB Subs.  The Airtable table holds new users sign ups done outside of Joomla/CB Subs and I'd like to be able to create a new user and subscription as a member through an API integration if possible.  Does CB/CB Subs have APIs or script hooks to allow this capability?

I know CB Subs has an import function but these require userID fields and documentation is unclear how these might be done for new registrations without IDs.

Thanks.

It's possible to do that using CB Auto Actions. Using the Registration action you can create a user within Joomla and CB. You can then chain a CB Paid Subscriptions auto action to it to then give them a subscription. This can then be setup to be an API endpoint so you can call it externally whenever you need to. If that sounds like a solution for you I can provide an example auto action configuration to get you started.
