Ok, have made some improvements to importing that hopefully will work for you. Once reviewed and merged we'll have a new CB build available. I've added support for importing users by id, username, or email so that fallback logic might help with your problem. Dates, Datetimes, and Times will all do a safety check and reformat if they're not in the correct format so you shouldn't have to worry about that anymore. Integers and Float values will also do some type casting as well to be safe. This should clean up the import data to improve the likelihood of imports.

Will let you know what the new build is available with these improvements.

Ok, a new CB build release is now available with some improvements to user importing. Please let me know if that works for you. If not will probably need to review your CSV file to better understand why your import data is failing.

Thank you for your quick attention to this and the improvements. I installed the update, which may have revealed what is wrong with my file. Here's the error CB returned:

Failed to parse time string (09-27-2024 01:05:17) at position 0 (0): Unexpected character

I had the date in the wrong format—I was using mm-dd-yyyy, when it should have been yyyy-mm-dd. I probably messed it up when I returned to it after not working on it for a week, because I originally followed the format of the exported file.

After I fixed all the date fields, the file imported with no errors.

I appreciate your patience in working through all this with me. I hope the updates you made will help others in the future with better results and pinpointing problems when CB reports an error in the process.

Thank you,
Ernie
