I think I know the answer to this, but just wanted to double-check.  If I select "Join Group" in the plan settings, does that mean when someone signs up or upgrades to the plan, they automatically get added to the group or groups I select?

And presumably, "New Group" and "New Category" mean these are created? (If yes, would this only kick in once for the first member who signs up to this plan?

Yes.

Yes. The group or category won't exist until someone subscribes. If the group already exists (by name) they can join into it instead.
