Ok, a new CBSubs build release is now available with these improvements. My recommendation would be to map your fields within CBSubs > Settings > Display > Invoices then unpublish your CB Auto Action and see how that goes. You don't have to do that and can continue to use your CB Auto Action, but the field synchronization behavior in CBSubs will likely be more reliable. After that I'd recommend configuring it to always synchronize so that your profile fields are the single source of truth and are always pushed through to basket and the invoice fields.
If you're still having problems after this we'll need to probably dig deeper into your installation specifically as I've tested the new implementation pretty extensively to reliably synchronize on every basket so I'd suspect if you still have problems it might be something going on in your install specifically.
