I use CB as a "member database" (users can only see/edit their profile, moderators can see/edit all).
Some of the fields should be editable by users, others should only be editable by moderators (through the frontend).
Just bought the Documentation Subscription, and the privacy plugin seems to do a good job at this!
But I want the user uneditable fields to be displayed for regular users as well, only with a disabled="disabled" parameter to the form element. That will be a more intuitive visualization of the limitations on registered-only-level. In other words: I'm looking for the old "user read only" functionality, except that moderators should be able to edit...
Is this possible -- or can it be implemented by modifying the plugin?
