unable to install my CB plugin

Why am I keep getting this error when try to install my CB plugin.

Upload showPlugins - Failed
Plugin version (2.0.1) different from Community Builder version (1.2)

I compare my CB plugin to the core CB plugin but don't see anything that would cause it to fail.

The XML has very similar structure to the core CB plugin and the php code class structure is too.

Please let me know how could I fix this problem.

Message given gives a good hint, don;t you think?

Looks like you have a version tag in your xml file that states that the plugin is only compatible with CB version 2.0.1 or above.

Plugin version (2.0.1) is the <version>2.0.1</version> so I thought it suppose to show plugin version not CB version.

Am I missing something?

Yes you are missing something.

The version tag is used to show the version of CB this plugin is compatble with.

I thought the version for CB is in the tag for the installer not on the normal <verson> tag like the way Mambo, Joomla keep the <version> for the addons

Then is there a way to put in the version info for my plugin?
