really strange captcha 2.2 behaviour

Hi,

I never noted it while I thought I always wrote it right in my tests but I now discovered that captcha 2.2 rc4 is not woriking correctly on my site.

If I register a new user in fact I can write everything I want in captcha field and it doesn't check so, in order words, it become unuseful.

On the other side I tried to recovered a lost password and here the captcha plugin is working correctly.

How can it be ??

Any suggestion will be highly appreciated.

Nant, do you maybe know if some other plugin interferes with captcha ?

I did nothing special except install and change its colors so why shouldn't it work on my site ?
