www.GXI.co.za is new in the Joomla development game but we will be brining you many new free hacks, developments and designs shortly - This is just our first contribution, this and everything else to come will be posted on our website www.gxi.co.za (to see what we are working on you can view our Massive development project: www.noticeboardonline.com )

######## Solution Auto login ########

Firstly turn off email confirmation and approval.

Change comprofiler.php to the following code (see attached)

Then open my comprofiler.php and Search for: $return_page="/index.php";

Change "/index.php" to which ever page you want the user to be redirected to after registring.

Hi. I have been using this solution and it was working great and then, suddenly it stopped working. I'm wondering if it is because I have now installed sh404sef?

Would you know a solution or what I could look into? Right now it is acting like there is simply no auto login.

Thanks,
Fran

This doesn't work for me in 1.2 The line of code doesn't exist and where I find where a similar line exists - on line 2777 it gives me PHP errors. I am going to look into www.sourcecoast.com/extensions/site-essentials which supposedly gives auto login
