Commenting with Joomlaboard

Commenting with Joomlaboard was created by groovetube
How does the commenting system work with Joomlaboard? I installed Joomlaboard to replace Simpleboard and want to use Joomlaboard for commenting on Mamblog posts. I enabled comments and checked other stuff but no comment box appears at the end of blog posts.

What did I miss? Or should I use a different system for Mamblog comments?

I think you should post this question over at the mamboblog site at mambo.theyard.org

I gave up on using Joomlaboard for commenting. I installed akocomment and the commentbot and it works just fine.

groovetube,

FYI...there is no commenting box for Joomlaboard. Basically, when you enabled Joomlaboard comment function you allowed your users to click the link, "Discuss this article on the forums. (0 posts)."

Which means, when someone click on that link they're able to reply to that blog entry into the Joomlaboard.

In order to do that you need to set the, "Joomlaboard Forum ID for comments" in your mamblog configuration menu.

It should be located at the bottom of the 'Settings' tab of Mamblog configuration menu.

I hope this help. Good luck!

Oh, I understand now. That is not how I needed it to work so I am glad I got akocomment working. Thank you for the information. :)
