maybe, but not me!!haha.. the only coding i can do is find a forum with the hack and copy and paste.. i'm absolutely green when it comes to coding.. thanks though.. i'll just keep my eye open for one to come out

It would not be all that hard.

I might do it, should take a day of playing around to make it work. Does anyone else think this is worth doing? What is the purpose of seeing all your comments in a tab?

By the way, I have posted a hack to akocomment over in joomla forums that will link the comment author to their profile as well as resolve the annoying error thrown by akocomment when the title of a mamblog is clicked on. I still need to make this a better solution, as in cleaner, but it works. Both hacks are lige on one of my sites and working well.

OK, here is the akocomment tab plugin. It supports localization, so you need to add the folloiwng lines (sorry I do not know how to get the installer to add text to the langauge file) into the components\com_comprofiler\plugin\language\default_language\default_language.php:

Once you have added the above code into your language file, install the plugin by using the CB Plugin Manager.

It took me all of three seconds to come up with a selfish (cough cough) application for an AkoComment plugin.

Embed the Akocommentbot in a Bookmark, a news item, blog entry, or anywhere it can be accomodated. Users can collect and look back on their comments on these items using a plugin that aggregates them per user. People often read what they previously wrote, and I'm sure their connections would in one place as well.

Here's another mashup that'd make it really interesting. Users can 'collect' comments from their connections or other users, and include them within their own tab.

I am having an issue with CB and akoComment plugin

Ill say everything works fine - with one exception

in CB profile - ill nav to the tab/comments which displays only the date - the title is blank

I have read the forums here and from what I gather - i need to add--- to the language file for the plugins

which I did - nothing changed - I saw in a diferent thread that this may have been fixed - but cannot find / or download the revised plugin from the thread in question
