no news articles?

How can I display news articles ..NOT MADE BY USERS BUT BY THE JOOMLA ADMIN,
example: joomla news articles from a sec/cat

and have this display on a CB tab?


I want the websites news article to appear on a tab on their profile so they dont have to keep going back to the home page to see website announcements.

I just cannot figure out how to display articles from a joomla section or category article on a tab.

such a simple thing, but I am lost.

tried the forum , google bing and joomla forums, nobody has the answer or I am searching the wrong terms.
