Regarding the \rn. Can you please take a picture of is?
I am unsure of how they can still be there, as it has been removed from the mails.

Are you sure all files have been overridden? Did you replace the files manually or used the installer?

I used the installer, and installed on top of previous version.

Not sure why this should be a problem at all, several other Components send e-mail without any hassle.

I PM'd you a link.

Let us know how we can assist...

The file in my post a few posts back, has been updated to remove \r\n on Windows systems and fix ALL other errors with the exception of sender name and email dependent on settings.

Can you confirm that all other errors has been fixed?

Currently I have no clue on how to fix the email sender and reply email. It currently seems to be a problem with Joomla it self and not the plugin.

Yes Thanks
• /rn are gone. :)
• In the copy sent to visitor the receivers Name is shown in the mail. :)

However, as you mentioned, the site is always sender, regardless of the setting. :(

Keep up the good work,

/Sven

Hi,

thank you for this great plugin. Can you tell me if there is a possibility to change the view of the owner. At the moment there are 3 possibility 1. don't show anything, 2. show text of languagefile 3. show form.

I'd like to show the email of the user instead of one of the three. Can you tell me how to do this?

Hi LenajL

Thanks - Please rate it on Joomla extensions :-)

I am not sure why you want to show the users email to them self, as they already know it?

A quick hack is to set the configuration to "show text from language file" and replace line 400 in the file "\components\com_comprofiler\plugin\user\plug_cbpublicmail\publicmail.php":
Code:
if ($publicmailOwnerVisit=="1") { $content = _PM_VISITING_OWN_PROFILE; }

With:
Code:
if ($publicmailOwnerVisit=="1") { $content = "<a href='mailto:".$user->email."' target='_blank'>".$user->email."</a>"; }

I will include this as an option in the next release, so you don't need to hack anything in the future!
