You can look in the downloads area of this site - there are alot submitted by community members.

Also there is a special category on the joomla extensions site that contains some plugins.

I guess that I also (as mikko) did not understand your question.

well sometimes the obvious isnt realy obvious right...?
I also found a lot of plugins listed at www.joomlacollection.com
And thats my point....
