gigCalendar Plugin

Hey all...

gigCalendar is released :woohoo: WOOOOOOW! This calendar completely bomb Joomla!

Much better than ExtCalendar and EventCalendar! Is it possible to merge this new Calendar with CB?

The only downsize of gigCalendar is that it doesn't have the ability to allow registered user to submit events.

That is great if you are a band mannager or run a site for concerts and the like. But if you are like the other 98% of the users and just run sites for everything else then it is useless. Unless I am missing something, I went to the demo and for a normal site it is all gig / band related. Also like the other guy said you can't add stuff from the front end.

Bottom line ExtCal still trumps the lot for the majority of the users. Would like to see some more developement / support for it to make it even better.

Wow - the gig-calendar is very sweet. This is just the first version, maybe they will add fronend user support. I think I may be using this on my site....

Anyway, it would be great to have a pluggin for CB that allows users to have their own calander - seems crazy to me that there isn't anything like this for Joomla. Probablly a function of the ACL I suppose....
