What Bridge, which Plugins ?

Hi all,

I have a SMF Forum in my Site installed and bridge it with Oristos Bridges from simplemachines.com. CB is installed too.

I was looking for other Plugins and a avatar (CB > SMF) syncing possibility and found some Files at joomlahacks.com (they are named JSMF - Plugins). I would like to integrate some of them.

1.) Is it possible to use the JSMF Plugins with Oristos Bridge or is it better to go with the Bridge of Joomlahacks ?

2.) Which Bridge is recommended by the makers of CB ?

No, Ositos Bridge sucks.. It really doesnt support anything else than just the integration of Joomla and SMF...

Go with Joomlahacks JSMF Bridge, then you can use those modules and plugins too.

Uninstalling Oristos Bridge and Installing Joomlahacks should work without any problem or ?

Just reconfigurate the new Bridge.

yes unless you didnt unpatch the files before removing the bridge.
