A new plugin for profile links

Hi,
I needed to have links on the user profile that include the user id in the URL.
Didn't want to change the core files, so I wrote this little plugin that adds a menu to the top of the profile page and enables to include the user Id or user name in the links.
The plugin supports currently adding up to 3 menu items, but this can easily be extended by editing the code.

NOTE!
For some reason, if the tab for this plugin is placed in the 'Header' location, it must be placed befor the 'menu' tab (cb_menu) in the tab management. Otherwise it won't show.

Disclaimer: The usuall stuff- this is not thoroughly tested, supplied as is, no warranties whatsoever etc.

Is there a demo of this... I'm looking for a way to add a sort of "bookmarking" or "Links" tab for users where they can have a little list of some of there favorite links, etc... Is this what you've created?

Well... I installed this and it works but I think I see what you were trying to do... and that is to simple have three static links that the user can click to go somewhere that you want them to... and NOT to provide the user with a tab that THEY can manage with there own links... right?

Not bad though for what it is...

Yeah, you are right.
I needed a static list of links that can change according to the user whose profile it is. Needed this for integration with another system.
My first idea was to add some links to the regular menu system, and that's what I did with the first simple plugin but my employer didn't like it so I wrote another one which simply adds a tab with links.

The new plugin is attached to this message.
I also added some functionality - now it is possible to insert any combination of user ID, user name, first name, middle name, last name and name title (e.g. 'Dr.', but this requires adding a field cb_nametitle in the fields management)
Not sure that is the best way to implement this functionality, but it works for me, hopefully for others also...
