[solved] CB Karma language issue? was created by baraxas
Hi there, and thanks for this great plugin! I installed it on my site, and tryed to translate the words Best # user and worst # user in italian, as they become Migliori # utenti and peggiori # utenti, modifyng mod_karma_montly.php.
But when going to homepage, where I published the module, i get this error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '}' in /web/htdocs/www.furlanie.com/home/modules/mod_karma_monthly.php on line 1

I thought it was due to my site is in utf8, so tried to modify the xml too, but nothing changed.
With original files everything works well...
Any idea?

I'd have to think that when you changed the code of the plugin you messed the code up somehow. Make sure you edit only the text and see what happens.

CB/Joomla golf site: www.thegolfspace.com
Geek/joomla site: www.tkserver.com

Check out my Joomla/CB projects:

* LIKE thumbs up system for "liking" content items
* Karma - CB user rating system
* Golf Score Tracker
* Jitter - status update system. "What's on your mind?"
* CB Author Plug - Shows CB author link and avatar in content items. J1.5 compatible and very customizable!

Found on my web site or in the Joomlapolis Directory !

Mmmm... finally i found it. It was due to te fact the file mod_karma_montly.php has the line separator char set to MacOs (/r), when I changed it to Unix (/n) everything worked well.
Thanks anyway!
