RELEASED :: CB Author Bot MOD (Karma)

hi all,
i have altered the CB Authbot Plugin, so it displays karma + / - buttons in content items.

it allows users the give karma to authors of content items, but not to their own, it also hides the button from guests.

i have attached the file.

you can see it in action at www.iloveit.at ( www.nnw.at )
(but be warned: german site..)

installation: copy the file contents (from editor) in joomlaxplorer over the contents of /mambots/content/CBAuthorBot.php
(or overwrite the CBAuthorBot.php file there via FTP, if owner is the webserver itself)

more infos: honestly, i have no idea what i actually did, but it works, well, okay, i have a little experience wuith changing PHP code, but i would never say i can write php.

here in this mod, i have created the first if - elseif - else thing in my life. im proud. at least:)

so, if there is a better way for e.g. exclude the + / - buttons for guests, tell me:)

ahm, ok, i just noticed:
"see it in action" is quite, well, funnny..
because if you will visit www.nnw.at or www.iloveit.at as a guest, at least you can see, that .. there are no buttons for karma at the content items.

the authorbot karma buttons are displayed for registered users only, for sure:) so, you experience one of the functions: the buttons are hidden for guests:)

just wanted to mention it.

what karma? there are like 3 or 4 different karma systems.

are there?

i used the joomlaboard forum karma,

You should make it possible for Mediaguru's Karma System which is for CB and no other forum integrated. just great:laugh:
You can search for it on JP.

never could do that:)
(or at least with to much time affords)
