Profile matching search

Hello,
have anybody a solution for this need of functionality



For a kind of friendshiop search i want to create this search function:


gender: male/female
looking for: male/female
age: between x and y

(above CB fields are all dropdown single select)

Avatar: x for only profiles with Avatar
postcode: textfield
City: textfield

---

The main problem for me is the age search from - to because this points to the same CB_field where the users A) manually chose from a dropdown list or alternative to a datefield where the user specify there own birthday.

Do you have an Idea how to make this kind of matching search?
I assume that a great part of the community would be interested in a "Ad on" or "Modul" with these input fields for your great search component

thanks for your feedback - I'm in contact with Robert, the developer, but in the actual version it can't fit the requirements...

Were you ever able to get the things you were looking for? I'm trying to make it so that my users can search by postal code and within a chosen radius of such code... so I'm looking for what you are looking for. Please let me know. Thanks!

I Have tested the 'advanced search' component and mambot too, but I think it has work to do.

And also I didn't found any module to display the seach fields in the frontpage (as a module)

I am just reporting to help grow this initiative

Hi there,
there is no progress on this situation from my point of view.

Unfortunatly i've lost the contact to Robert Grund - he offered his support but now there is no reponse anymore - hope he is alive an healthy:(

Maybee we can find some more people interested in this special search to make a development request....
