Unable to uninstall mod_newusers

i had installed this module

extensions.joomla.org/component/option,com_mtree/task,viewlink/link_id,1559/Itemid,35/

it totall distorted the alignment of my website (it uses standard joomla template with standard cb)

so when i wanted to remove this, i went to "site Modules" and deleted it.

Got deleted but didn't get uninstalled properly.

Doesn't even let me delete manually the folder /mod_newusers/ when i do manually

And it doesn't let me do install again so that i can do clean uninstall.

anyone faced this problem.. any workarounds?

if the rights of the map are not 777 you can remove it manually so change the rights of the map and try it again and otherwise
