Extended Select? Wont let users edit profile

I have extended select and listtab installed. Both with the hacks etc as per instructions.

I seem to have everything working (except list tab which is a seperate bug thats been reported) but I now find I cant save any information to the cb profile...?

Anyone seen this b4 and anyone got a suggested fix or debugging...

Unpublishing these plugins doesn't do anything...

You need to be more specific. Any error messages, what is your configureation? Which versions?

The plugin works for me, but it does not mean that it would do that for all other users.

NO error messages - it reports saving the changes correctly but doesn't!

If I run the test hack it says its hacked correctly

But unpublishing doesn't make the problem go away which leaves unhacking... which I haven't tried...

But was hoping someone would say - toggle 'such and such' to on and you'll get an error message and you'll see which bit of code broke... blah blah...

Try a version which you can find from my server. Also, turn on debug in Joomla and tell what it reports. Which mysql version do you have?

Ok well the debugging is a huge list of SQl selects but none are are UPDATE (or INSERT) with the exception of the SQL session variables...

Just tried version from your server - same problem 9I don't yet know if the problem is your plugin - but it appeared around same time.

HOWEVER *** MAJOR BUG - the field I was trying to set was a tel no field (nothing to do with a drop down!). It produced a drop down box with OTHER PEOPLE's tel no's which are not publically available. - THAT's A HIGH LEVEL SECURITY FLAW

It also still produces an error locating the langauage file ass per issue reported last night.

The implication that this is out of beta by v1.x is a stretch of the imagination don't you think
