Users adding events

I currently have the Attend Events component and plugin for CB installed, but I am trying to find a way to let users add their own events? Is there a modified component out there or maybe a better system?

Try using SOBI2. I tried JA Submit, Event List, JEvents, etc. and none worked the way I wanted. Came across SOBI2 and it was perfect. You can predefine fields in the backend, easy setup, flexibility and customization without having to mess with code at all. and to put the icing on the cake, users can submit from the front end with ease. check it out.

It sounds ideal, except for the lack of a mini-calendar showing clickable event dates...
