I'm a new user, but so far I'm very impressed with the system, and would like to thank everyone involved in creating this!
I've been searching and browsing the forums here, but haven't been able to get a handle on my specific problem.
I would like to create a new registration field for each user. This field would be a membership number from a membership card. So far so good.
The problem is that when the registration form is subitted i need to communicate with an external server to validate the number and inform the external system that this specific number now has been registered.
I've had a look at the mailmanlist subscribe plugin which has a few of the elements I'm looking for, but not quite.
Has anyone here done anything like this? Any pointers?
