problems with CB - SMF bridge

I'm having problems getting my CB and SMF to jive. It appears that I have everything installed properly. Here's my 2 problems

1. when logged in and I click the Message board link I land on the forum NOT logged in. Then when I return to the homepage, I get logged out
2. when I go to MY PROFILE and click the FORUM tab, it says "Simpleboard forum component is not installed"

What bridge are you running ?

I figured it out. It took about 6 hours of searching downloading and playing around.

The problem is that there is not 1 instructional guide that spells it all out. Someone could really help out a lot of people by simply making a page that has ALL the downloads and 1 instructional guide to install CB and integrate the SMF forum.

ummm.. Hate for this to be my first forum post an and all, but your reply screams the need..

So, in the same fail swoop you condemn others for not documenting clearly, you fail to give any explanation as to how you solved this issue--thus saving someone else 6 hours?

I have the identical problem. Could you post the solution? If not, is there someone else that can help?
