Geting information from field

I'm trying to create a plugin of my own. I started but it isn't stll finished.
The plugin creates a new tab in the users profile. The tab has some text and html. I need one of users field to be displeyed between the html sourse. The field name is cb_userbord.
And how to make the tab not to be shown if nothing in the field is entered?
Please help me!

Please just say what to write in the php file ot the plugin so that in the profile of users to print what he have entered in the field with name: cb_userbord.
