Shopper Group problem with CB and VM Plugin

Hello all,

I haven't been able to find a solution anywhere hence this post.

Software versions

Joomla! v1.0.13 Stable [ Sunglow *eCommerce Edition* ] 21 July 2007
VirtueMart 1.0.13
CB v1.1
CB VM plugin v1.0.10

Problem outline

Effects new user accounts (handled by CB )

Shopper user permissions are not working properly (VM User admin)
I can set them on the 'Bill To Information' but when saved the 'Shopper Group' is not listed in the VM User List and users is unable to view any products

I would be grateful for any suggestions because I'm stumped, keep it simple though I'm new to PHP.

I have no experience with VM, so I cannot begin to offer advise ...

Thanks nant for the prompt reply anyhow. I have also posted on VM and VM Plugin forums so i live in hope.
