Search userlists as Module was created by locau
hello all,

I'm using atm the "super search" plugin for CB and it works wonderful, even within extra fields... great work tks !

I'm wondering if it's possible to make the default search module to search like supersearch? Or any type of search to work in CB and be able to position it on any template position ?

I have now a user4 position that is occupied with default search module and it doesn't search the userlists... is there any way i can make it work searching all ?

I've tested "COMMUNITY BUILDER - Advanced Search Component" but for some weird reason it gives an error "no published lists" Can't seem to make it work...

Sorry for my bad english.

Thanks all for the help.

Ok i'm updating this topic

www.joomlapolis.com/component/option,com_joomlaboard/Itemid,38/func,view/id,45875/catid,13/limit,6/limitstart,0/

I've found this post and it seems to work like a module and i've been able to place it in position User4 but... it uses the "COMMUNITY BUILDER - Advanced Search Component" and i can't seem to get it working... also it messes up the template layout :|

Ok i've found the problem with the "no published lists" in the "Advanced search component" it seems you have to build a default list in order to work. if no list is marked as default... it simply doesn't work.

Ok it seems that it can work with Cb advanced search but for some reason it's showing some messy code:

Anyone has any ideia why it's showing "submit query" ?

Ok the problem is related to the mod_simplecbsearch that i'm using to generate the module position in order to implement in position user4.

It works great with the "Advanced search component component" but for some reason it's messing up the layout ...

Any1 can give me a hand ?!

Note: Is there anyway i can modify the original mod_search in order to work just like "simple search"? i'm no coder sorry
