Anyone want to test the beta before I post it at JoomlaWebDesigners.com?
Just as with the Avatar Gallery (was Avatar Matrix), the module assigns avatars to users who haven't uploaded one. However, it also contains some additional features, which are vast improvements.
1. Handles JPGs and GIFs, and lets you specify which to use for avatars.
2. Comes with 145 JPGS and 33 GIFs, ready to be uploaded.
3. Lets you decide to wait a few days (you choose how long) before randomly assigning an avatar, to give the user a chance to upload one.
4. An email can be sent to the user letting them know that an avatar has been chosen for them, and that email includes a link back to their profile. The email can say whatever you want it to say.
5. Includes a hack that fixes a bug in the Avatar Gallery/Matrix implementation, whereby avatars for users who updated their image would be deleted, thus nibbling away at the stock of sample avatars.
