Here is what I am looking for and I hope someone can help me out with it. I am somewhat of a novice at programming.
So here is the scenario:
I am a user on my site and I am from Los Angeles. When I login to the site, I would like to see multiple avatar pictures of members who are also from Los Angeles.
When I see the avatars, I can click on them to see their profile and try to connect with them since they live in my city.
This goes for every location, not just Los Angeles. I assume it has something to do with GEO IP tracking.
On my site, I ask for city, state and zip when people signup. So I have that info on every member.
Would this module work off of IP address or just the user’s city, state and zip?
If someone knows of an existing module that does this, that would be great.
