Karma2

Hello.

This is the new thread for the Karma2 component which is a modification of the Karma1 component. This is currently available for Joomla 1.0.x, it is unsupported for Joomla 1.5.x however if you are after a points component for that version of Joomla i suggest www.alphaplug.com

Thanks to the original author for the Karma component, which this is heavily based. I have to forewarn that i both have limited Programming experience, and i do not use this component currently as my site is being upgraded to Joomla 1.5.x, that said i did run this component on my site and it worked well.

In true Open Source spirit, this component is offered to anyone who finds it useful, you are welcome to modify the component in any way you see fit, and base other components on this. All that i ask is that if copyrights exist, credit both myself, and mediaguru for the components.

Good luck with the component and i hope it works well for your Joomla 1.0.x sites.

Glad to see a new thread for this version.

I've added my version (the original one) to the Joomlapolis directory here .

I'm of course biased and like the original version for my own needs but it is nice to see my contribution's path! I'd like to see it modified to work on J1.5 one of these days.

I have the original working on my two main CB sites which can be found in my signature.
