Ok after Rapunzl gave me a hard time about still writing my components and plugs for J1.0.X, I've converted my popular "Karma" suite to J1.5!
NOW IN BETA is the Karma Component and the Karma CB Plugin, completely NATIVE for Joomla! 1.5.
I'd like to get these in the hands of a few beta testers before I submit to the Directory here other places.
About Karma15
My Karma system puts a thumbs up and thumbs down on the CB user profile, allowing CB members to "vote" or give Karma to each other. I use this to have monthly and yearly contests on my golf site.
For security and to prevent "Karma Fraud" and "Karma Bombing," there is a configurable "daylock" which allows you to set the days between votes. I set my daylock at 1, which means each CB member can vote on another member one time per 24 hour period.
New features for the 1.5 Jooma version
New features include an admin form in the CB plugin which allows admins to edit Karmas easily.
Admin backend now allows modification of karmas and deletion of karma rows, as well as setting the daylock.
LOGO NEEDED!
I'm not much of a graphic artist. If someone out there would like to make a logo for me, I'll keep you in on pre-releases!
