Hi Nick,
I upgraded to Cb 1.3.1 as per your suggestion. Upgrade went very smoothly but same problem remains.
I ran all CB tools and green lights all the way. Cleared site cache and browser cache no help.

Clicking on "My profile" in CB Login menu sends me to the member list

Clicking on my user in the member list lands me right back at the member list

I can access all other member's profiles

This behavior is new today. Site is three weeks old and everything has been great until now.

Do you have a URL we can see and maybe a test account?

I assume you have created a public menu item as instructed in the documentation.

Got your PM.

You did not follow the documentation as you didn't create the mandatory menu item needed.

I added the item and now everything is ok.

But please tell us how to make this even more obvious in the documentation.

It is stated on page 15 of the installation guide - please take a look and tell me what we can do in order to have people not miss this step?

P.S. BTW nice site - I am also a genealogy person - you should check-out lythgoes.net/genealogy/software.php

Dear Nick,

Page 15 of the manual is perfect. I followed the instructions in the beginning and added the mandatory CB link to User Profile as directed.

In hindsight, my problem began yesterday when I looked more closely at Joomla > Extensions > Module Managar > CB Login.

Module Parameters > Profile link text: I entered "My Profile"

A link to My Profile then appeared in CB Login

I unpublished the original link to My Profile yesterday because I had enabled it in CB Login(or so I thought).

I see my mistake now: I DID NOT READ THE TOOLTIP DISPLAYED WHEN YOU MOUSEOVER THE PROFILE LINK PARAMETER.

I just now removed the value from the CB Login parameter "Profile link text" and all is back to normal with the original mandatory link to User profile as desecribed on page 15.

Hope this saves others from the same error.

Thanks Nick! Love the software man
