cbMail config was created by davige
Trouble using CbMail. I'm using joomla 1.5 in legacy 1.0 mode. Can't configure mail permissions. I managed permissions for all group communications, but on the front end after attempting to send mail it reads " could not initiate mail function"

could not initiate mail function

This means your mailer settings are configured incorrectly and PHP is failing to send an email. Please check your settings within Joomla global configuration. Best approach is to just use PHPMailer if your host supports it. It could also mean your email is mal-formatted. Where are you see this error? After registration? Mailing form on users profile? Mass Mailer in user management? Need more details please.
