This is something you need to discuss with your hosting provider. You can't install to a sub-folder then expect your domain to reach it. If you wanted it accessed at
www.example.com
then you should have installed it there instead of
www.example.com/joomla
. You'll need to discuss with your host on how to setup a redirect to your sub-folder or to point your domain to that folder.
