Hi,
I am hoping to use my website for an Issue Tracking application.
The idea is that registered users can log issues about various things and they receive a ticket reference that refers to the issue that has been logged.

The idea is that some specified users will be able to manage and deal with issues, and to close them.

I think CB would be ideal for this but I cannot find a suitable extension or plugin that might be able to achieve this.

Any thoughts or tips?!?!

We've no official plugin to support CRM or issue tracking components. You could write a plugin your self to do this or you could use Professional subscriber incubator project CB Queries which allows executing database queries at various CB triggers such as after registration or login. This would allow you to pass user data to another extension or even another website (supports external databases) to keep users in sync.
