changing userparams in FE

changing userparams in FE was created by SPABO

When changing the userparams, eg default language in the userprofile in FE and save this, the params will not be saved!

I can only change the userparams in the standard (BE) Joomla usermanagment.

Question : Why will the new userparams not be saved when editted in FE?
