I need to change some fieldnames in the user profiles. If I do so then the current users are gone? I think I als need to change teh Dbase names but how do I do this in a proper way?

please advise

May I ask why do you need to change the internal names?

The field name was called "adress" but it should be "street". If I change the Field name in Field management it works for new users, but not for the already registered ones? I've tried this on a demo site setup and then the already registered users are not listed anymore....

Backup first.

Find the row in your comprofiler_fields table and change the values of the name and tablecoumn to what you want.

then edit your comprofiler table and change the column name to the new name.
