For anyone else wondering about this, I imagine you have to hack the core files to change this to pixels. However, if you want to change the percent width, go to CB Configuration, then choose the User Profile tab. There's a line labeled "2 columns layout: widths." Set the width you want for the left column. The balance of the width will automatically be attributed to the right column.
