db issues , dont know where to go

Okay so I decide to do some cleaning on my website.

i had some components that I dont use anymore..and that linked to cb in any way.

- jbolo
- multisites

I have never used these component for anything other than testing
so I uninstalled them

and I also uninstalled the JA purity template.

now, my front end shows and so do a few other components such as geocode factory and rsforms
but.....when I click any link that leads me to CB, the page shows up completely blank.
but only the CB pages, no errors or anything?

and I can no longer access my Joomla admin control panel..it shows up blank as well but it does show the initial login page.

I went into the DB and verified that all of my CB stuff is still there.

i can even login as a users and click the "edit profile" link and it takes me to a blank page
no template or anything. but also no errors?

soo, before I restore from a backup. what could be causding this?
everything was fine before I removed these components.

could this be some plugin that got switched off?

The data all appears to be intact in the DB but non-responsive


One other thing I should mention is that when I removed the component joomla multi sites. it reset my config file to the original config file I used to import this site from another site that I built.

so I manually edited the configuration.php to reflect the correct paths and db login info.

I know this is not a normal solution any most likely not the fault of CB, I'm not looking for my hand to be held...just some insight on how to fix.

downloaded the entire site via ftp
downloaded the newest release of cb (1.3.1)

replaced all the administrator files that appeared to give an error

system seems to be functioning again....?
now allows me into admin area
checking the entire db now
